Moroccan shark teeth were dug out of the phosphate mines in Morocco. The Moroccan phosphate fields were laid down between roughly 93 and 33 million years ago and you often see fossils buried together that are millions of years apart. Many kinds of fossils are found including shark, stingray, turtle, snake, Mosasaur, various Fish, Lizards etc. The Moroccan phosphate mines are probably the most fossil rich area on earth. Otodus was a large shark four times as huge as a modern great white who lived around 40 million years ago and are well represented with impressive shark teeth at around $10.
